Just having heard Eder sing this past Saturday night at Town Hall in New York City, I regret to report that she can no longer hit the notes in that famous arrangement (justly so, famous, and I was there at Carnegie Hall that night when she performed it as part of My Favorite Broadway) -- she simply totally skips the end of the high soprano descant. she really should retire the song until if and when she can sing it well again. (As an aside, the concert was very unimpressive, and I've seen and loved her in many venues of many sizes, and always been blown away......It was a sad night for me and the concert was nowhere near ready for New York City.
