Regarding sgbrun's comment, several of the top folks at Curious/Rhino were sent the survey and did not respond. And I did make note of Curious' anniversary in the main piece. I realize the facts interfere with your outsider pose, but you're always on our radar. (And us old-timers recall a cover story on Maestro Subgum back in Newcity's early days.) I did overlook Prop, as a separate theater company, as well as a handful of other smaller companies in my efforts, and look forward to adding your data and comments to the web version of the story in the future.

Prop Thtr, Curious Theatre Branch & The Rhinocerous Theater Festival - providing diverse and original theater for the last 29 years to Chicago - formative forum for so many and yet hardly ever comfortably fit into articles by those who seek to sum up and file away this alive Chicago Theater scene. We are honored not to be considered.
